Skillful app but quirky lately (UPDATED)
I've been using this app for years and adopt information technology over competitor's offerings. I like that notifications can exist configured and received for every transaction. However within the past week or so, these notifications have been arriving very belatedly — like many hours later on the transaction has occurred. E.g. if my wife makes a purchase in the morning on her card I won't see the transaction notification until the afternoon and I accept to inquire her if that was a legitimate transaction or not. Information technology's non very helpful, delight look into why these delays are occurring.
EDIT: reduced from 5 stars to ii stars because the delays in the purchase notifications accept gotten absurd. I have iOS and SMS notifications enabled for purchases and both accept been arriving OVER TWLEVE HOURS Afterward the actual purchase time. This is plainly ridiculous. Please fix!
EDIT2 (14Jan2020): OK back to 5 stars for now! The notifications result seems to have been resolved equally the "Instant Buy Notifications" are dorsum to being "instant". Overall I accept no qualms about this app as it's like shooting fish in a barrel to use for the few basic things I need it to exercise, with the notifications thing beingness at the height of the list. Thank you for the fix!
Not applied for deposit account holders
From what I hear this app and Capital One as a whole is Astonishing for credit card holders but for those that own eolith accounts this app really isn't that useful! I've been banking with Capital Ane for years and I tin honestly say I miss a lot of the features the Capital One Wallet app used to provide. I'd beloved the developers of this app to take their deposit business relationship holders into consideration and add features similar alerts when a deposit is made to my account too as alerts when a transaction is made over a certain dollar corporeality. To be articulate, when I say alerts I hateful bodily notifications to my device sent from the app that appear on my dwelling screen. I don't want to have to receive alerts via text that is so outdated plus I accept enough text threads as information technology is betwixt work and family unit. I'k starting time to feel like Capital 1 isn't interested in investing in their deposit account holders at present or even in the future. I believe this company is more focused and geared towards their credit and lending services. To exist fair Chase not but provides these basic notification services to customers but they too have added the ability to view what you lot spend money on weekly to their app. I practise not desire to close my accounts and become over to another bank because I truly bask banking with Cap. One. I dearest everything from the client service all the fashion down to the debit card pattern. But I have a feeling I will leave if I don't come across whatever changes being made.

I opened an account with Capital letter One in Dec of 2022 to rebuild my credit and I have never been late to this day. Not even during a very hard time during the Pandemic, I nevertheless managed to make on fourth dimension payments. I opened a quick silver account in September as an effort to have more revolving credit and endeavor to help my credit more. I had an issue with my bank and it acquired apayments that I made to both of my Upper-case letter 1 accounts to be returned. The bank situation was resolved and My payments to both accounts were immediately paid. Capital letter One sent me an electronic mail alerting me that the payments were returned and asked me Covid was causing me to take financial hardship and asked me if I needed help. I didn't need assistance, the issue with my bank was resolved and I immediately made the payment to both my accounts notwithstanding not causing me to exist late on payments. I learn a couple of days subsequently that my accounts were both being closed for FRAUD!! How practice you commit fraud on accounts that you make payments on monthly for almost 2 years. One hurts me the near in this situation is that I've worked so hard to build my credit and Capital Ane merely closes both of my accounts after sending me an e-mail asking me if I demand assist. Capital One closing these accounts has set me back and now I probably tin can't buy a house. I'm so devastated! WHY SEND AN EMAIL Asking YOUR Customer IF THEY Need Assistance WHEN Y'all DONT REALLY Hateful Information technology AND Yous HURT THEM INSTEAD OF HELPING THEM!!!!
